This is Reptile Haven of East Tn. A local reptile rescues. we take in reptiles and amphibians, rehabilitate them and then find them new homes. My name is Shannon, I have been working with reptiles for seven years, and have had experience with all types of snakes, lizards, amphibians, and arachnids. It became my goal, 8 years ago after rescuing my original ball python, Fang. Then from their my passion was born. Zoology is my major and I love all animals but i had noticed that someone was needed to step up and take in the animals that others could no longer see too.
Which is why I also started an educational program to help teach youngsters as well as parents the amount of work that goes into having a reptile. They are definitely not like small animals or fish that don't live long and you can get rid of when bored. That this amazing creatures require a life long commitment. but that they are so worth it.
